Welcome to the home wiki page for Bicycles for Humanity.  We are a grassroots organization or movement focused on empowering healthcare workers in Africa with access to mobility.  Community based groups or  chapters are partnered with community groups in Africa and then set about sendign a container of bikes, roughly 400, plus parts  to that community.  We call these containers, BEC's or Bicycle Empowerment Centres.  Our website, www.bicycles-for-humanity.org contains  additional info related to what chapters are doing and how to start a chapter.

As a movement, it is hard to  keep all informed and to really know what is going on globally.  Hopefully a wiki will help us  share  information and resources in the hope that together we can  solve the problems or rural healthcare in Africa
